Maria + Erik | Revel Event Center | Greenville, South Carolina

Lovebirds. Intentional details. Sparkly pumps. That’s what I think about when I remember Maria and Erik’s wedding day. From each dried petal that Maria’s mother kept throughout the years to the Joshua stone reminder of their commitment to marriage, so many moments were intentional crafted for this day. Think for a minute about all of the flowers you received in your life prior to your wedding day—think prom corsages, recital bouquets, Valentine’s Day gifts from college boyfriends—that’s a lot of petals, right? One of the most touching elements to this wedding was Maria’s dried petals that her mom saved and dried for her over the years—flowers for exciting moments, flowers to remind her of past triumphs and sadnesses too. But the flowers in her hand are fresh and new, full of inspiration—just like this new marriage!

But this wedding day wasn’t just tear-jerking in thoughtfulness and intentionality—it brought the house down too. The dance floor was full, and guests couldn’t get enough. The cold and rain tried to beat us out from a classic, sparkler exit; but that didn’t hold these guests back. Sparkles and raindrops flittered through the night as we said farewell to this newlywed couple! What an amazing night.
