Puppy love. That's what I think about more than anything with these two. You see, they have a deep-rooted passion and love for dogs—all the dogs—and this passion is one of the many things that drew this couple together. Watching these two look at one another with so much love, respect, and excitement made this day howl with goodness and joy.
The dog days of summer weren't quite in full swing in the North Georgia Mountains the weekend of Taylor and Ben's wedding—by my oh my, was nature on their side. An estate-sized cabin with an unforgettable view housed the wedding party the night before and lit up the next morning with the most beautiful horizon line of blue-green mount mountains.
And the views didn't stop there. A hilltop ceremony with an unbeatable view of Three Sisters Vineyards and distant, rolling mountaintops. White chairs were lined up. The gazebo was outfitted with flowers made by the bride's Aunt. Guests arrived in their best sunglasses, anxiously awaiting for these two to say I do. It only makes sense for 2 dog-lovers to involve a sweet pooch at their wedding ceremony, so once Ivy, the fluffiest member of the bridal party, walked down the aisle—a mood was instantly set, one of light-heartedness and love.
Nothing can quite match the emotion of vows that have been written by the bride and groom. Happy, passionate tears were shed by many. And family members sealed letters of love and encouragement in a wine box for these two to open years down the road. As their ceremony sealed with a kiss, Taylor and Ben anxiously anticipated all of the fun that was just moments away.
Three Sisters Vineyard has a great open air barn for receptions—and it was perfect for this evening celebration. Long rows of farm tables were filled up with guests, excitedly awaiting for all that was about to unravel. Gonzo's Gourmet kicked off this celebration with some of the finest eats—and I'll be the first to say that these folks have amazing customer service; they even prepared an extra few vegan meals just. in. case! And while we're focusing on food, no one could keep their eyes off the dessert bar—cakes, cookies, bars, pies! You name it, it was there. And each slice of heaven was prepared by someone close to the bride or groom. Sweet!
Tender speeches, empty wine glasses, and a maxed out dance floor. This crowd was ready to celebrate. Once the newlyweds had their final dance and exited through a tunnel of petals, their guests were ready to keep the party going back on the dance floor. Talk about some good friends to have at your wedding!
Taylor and Ben—you two love deeply; and I mean that for both animals and people! I believe in your marriage and trust that it will be filled with lots of warmth and silliness for the years to come. Warmest wishes always!
What was your favorite moment of the day prior to the wedding ceremony?
Prior to the wedding ceremony, my favorite moment was my first look with my dad. He has had a history of serious health concerns, and I just always prayed that God would bring him through those issues and looked forward to a moment when we could share a special time on my wedding day.
What was your most memorable moment during the wedding ceremony?
During the wedding ceremony, my most memorable moment was hearing Ben's vows to me. I was SO impressed by them, and I was trying so hard not to lose it with emotions.
What was your favorite moment of the reception?
The dance party with all of our friends and family. It was so nice to finally just be able to relax and celebrate with the people we love.
What advice would you give to someone currently planning their wedding?
Stay focused on the union that the whole celebration is about! Try to minimize and delegate as much as you can so that you can just focus on being present for the love of your life on this special day! It truly flies by, and the little details will be fleeting. Just focus on soaking in all of the love.
